Pavement Condition Management Group (now superseded by RCMG)

The Pavement Condition Management Group (PCMG) was the steering group for the PCIS support contract with the DfT.  The group replaced the original UKPMS and SCANNER steering groups and was set up to drive the project forward, ensuring that the aims of the contract were achieved.  The PCMG advised the UK Roads Board on what needed to be delivered and when, to enable local authorities to deliver on asset management.  The group met three or four times per year, with TRL providing administrative and technical secretariat support.
