You can search all of the pages on this site
If you do not find any matching pages, try using a different or fewer words in your search phrase.
The search is case insensitive, i.e. searching for Pavement and pavement are the same
If you enter a single word the search will display the titles of all pages that contain the word. Certain common words, e.g. the, and, etc. are not included in the search. Also words that appear on more than half of the pages are excluded.
If you search for multiple words, separated by spaces, you will find all pages that contain one or more of the entered words. This is equivalent to the logical OR expression, e.g. highway OR network
If you prefix one or more words with a plus sign (+), e.g. +highway network, you will find only pages that contain the word highway, they may also contain network. If you prefix both words with the + e.g. +highway +network then you will find only pages containing both words. This is equivalent to the logical AND expression, e.g. highway AND network
Simillarly prefixing a word with a minus sign (-) excludes that word, so -pavement management will find pages that contain management but excluding those which contain pavement.
Placing an asterisk (*) after a word will find pages containing different forms of the word, e.g. manage* will find pages containing managed, manages, management, etc. but not mismanage. You cannot place a * before a word.
Enclosing a phrase in quotes (") will search for the complete phrase, e.g. "pavement management" system will find pages that contain the phrase pavement management OR the word system. Likewise +"pavement management" -system will find pages containing pavement management AND NOT system
Enclosing words in brackets () groups sets of expressions, e.g. ("road maintenance" "highway maintenance") -footway would mean "show pages that contain either the phrase road maintenance or the phrase highway maintenance AND DO NOT contain the word footway ".
