Seminar Series - Getting the Most from Pavement Condition Information Systems

The aim of the seminar series was to
- Spread knowledge and understanding of PCIS within local authorities and their service providers of:
- Survey methods, both visual inspections and machine surveys
- Analysis methods, both within UKPMS and others
- Practical ways of using the results
- Share examples of “good practice” so that local authorities and service providers can learn from one another
- Share examples of “problems and difficulties” so that we can resolve them,
- Problems with survey methods or survey data
- Problems with analysis methods and systems
- Problems using the results in practice
Each day followed a similar structure with talks being delivered by members of the PCIS support team and guest speakers from local authorities. The local authority speaker presentations were different at each event. All the presentations are available to download, regardless of which event they appeared in.
